Answers to the queries made about this charge:
1. First line ashore:
This operation consists of sending the mooring service provider craft a first line ashore. This manoeuvre aids vessel berthing, and may be requested by the pilot and subsequently carried out with the consent of the captain.
The mooring service must be provided by suitable vessels to ensure the service is carried out under safe, quality conditions. Thus, the service indicated may not be charged in the same way as securing a normal line nor may any other additional charges or surcharges be applied for a first line ashore. 2. Mooring manoeuvres on buoys and dolphins in which vessels are needed to carry out the operation.
This operation consists of sending the mooring service provider craft a line which is secured to a buoy or dolphin on the corresponding berth.
This charge is per line secured at each buoy or dolphin. If extra hawsers are required to reinforce a line at a buoy or dolphin, the additional extra hawser surcharge indicated in the approved charges (50% surcharge up to a maximum of 4 hawsers, 100% surcharge for every additional hawser over 4 will be applied).
