Article 42 of Spanish Law 30/2007, of 30th October, on Public Sector Contracts

The aim of public procurement is to ensure transparency and public access to information about public sector tenders, without prejudice to the use of other advertising media in the cases required by law or by the regional regulations that develop this, or in those in which this is voluntarily decided upon.

Public procurement may include data and information about the contracting organisation’s public sector tender activity, such as prior information announcements, as set out in article 125, open or ongoing tenders and their corresponding documentation, contracts scheduled, the contracts awarded, cancelled procedures, and other useful general information.
